PhD programmes

At PhD level (Dottorato), the Faculty provides its students with the following opportunities. 

PhD School in Statistical Sciences, run by the Department of Statistics

The PhD Course in Statistical Sciences is offered and managed by the Department of Statistics, which is also located within the Santa Caterina Campus.

The doctoral programme in Statistics was introduced in 1984, and was among the first Ph.D. programmes in Italy. 

In 2004  the Department of Statistics began to offer a  Ph.D. in Statistical Sciences. The new PhD School in Statistical Sciences replaces two previous research doctoral programmes in Statistics and in Statistics Applied to the Economic and Social Sciences.
